Albanian investors seek permits to build wind farm, solar park in Fier
, NewsAlbania’s energy ministry said it has received two applications for building permits for a wind farm and a solar park with installed capacity of up to 3 MW each in the southwestern city of Fier.
The estimated cost of the projects is 359 million leks ($3.4 million/ 2.7 million euro) each, the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
A consortium comprising local companies Seman Sunpower and Sonne has submitted an application to build a photovoltaic park, whereas local company Windsbab has submitted a separate application for construction of a wind farm.
