An information campaign on the Southern Interconnection gas pipeline is underway in Bosnia
, NewsThe beginning of the public information campaign on the Southern Interconnection gas pipeline project was marked in Sarajevo. It is a project with a total value of 196 million KM (100 million euros), which envisages the construction of a gas pipeline in the length of 180 kilometers, of which 160 kilometers is in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This project should connect the current transport gas pipeline of BiH with the Croatian gas pipeline system on the stretch Zagvozd-Imotski-Posusje-Novi Travnik, with a connection to Mostar.
The Parliament and the Government of FBiH recognized this project as one of the most important strategic projects for FBiH, which for the first time in more than four decades will provide gas supply to citizens and the business sector and enable new sources of natural gas in BiH.
