Bosnia: Russian owner of Refinery Brod claim the investment of 220MEUR

The total investment after the privatization of Oil Refinery Brod amounts to 220MEUR, and there are planned additional funds in the development of the plant, said Andrei Getinger, General Director of Refinery.

Getinger said the refinery employs 1,180 employees, with an average net salary of 450EUR, along with regular settlement of all obligations to employees.

At the meeting which is organized by Optima Group for its biggest customers, presented a brief history of the Oil Refinery in Brod, realization plans and business planning, as well as actual and future investments, and the current and actual production capacities one of the largest enterprises in the Republic of Srpska.

With the arrival of new investors in 2007, begins the process of significant investments in reconstruction and modernization of the refinery plant, with a substantial increase in production capacity and refinery today in its assortment has 14 different products, said commercial director of Optima Group, Novak Damjanovic.

He accent that the refinery has an annual processing capacity of three million tons of crude oil, but due to the actual demand and market volume annually arrange 1.2 million tons.

Damjanovic pointed out that the control and test laboratories within the Oil Refinery Brod most modern in BiH, that operates according to international standards, and based on the obtained certificate stands as guarantor of the quality of all its products.
