EDPR’s renewable production grows 14% in Q1 2018
, NewsThe output of EDP Renovaveis SA’s renewable power plants has increased by 14% year-on-year to 8.76 TWh in the first quarter of 2018.
Data released by the company on Tuesday shows that the most significant increase on year-on-year terms was achieved in Mexico, where the company’s generation rose by 100% to 185 GWh. Production in Europe also went up 16% to 3.9 TWh, mainly due to the “exceptional” wind resource in Spain and Portugal.
At the end of March, EDPR managed a total renewables portfolio of 11 GW in 11 countries.
