Windmill park ‘Bogdanci’ has started with regular production of electric energy after successful completion of testing the equipment performances.

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and Director of ELEM (Macedonian Power Plants) Dejan Boskovski visited the park on Sunday.

In the 11 months of its setting into operation, the wind power plant located in Ranavec-Bogdanci met the annual production projection, delivering 100 GWh of naturally sustainable energy, which covers the needs of households of 60,000 citizens or of one larger city, such as Prilep, Kumanovo, Tetovo and Gostivar.

For the first six months of this year, the windmills park, EUR 55.5 million- worth project, has delivered 65 MW, i.e. 70,00 percent of the planned production for 2015.
