, NGOsMinistry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with the NGO Green Home and World Wildlife Fund began the process of identifying sensitive areas on rivers and river segments in Montenegro, which stand out for biodiversity and landscape values and which should be protected against infrastructure projects.
As Montenegrin media report, the final goal of the process is the mapping of favorable, less favorable and unfavorable areas for the construction of hydropower plants and other infrastructure on the rivers in Montenegro.
