Montenegro; Visit Piva and Perucica HPPs planned to be reconstructed over the next 5 years
, NewsVostock Capital is happy to invite you to the onsite visit to Piva and Perucica HPPs, Montenegro, planned to be reconstructed over the next 5 years. The visitors will learn about the Operator EPCG’s investment programme for HPP reconstruction, as well as technologies, equipment used, and expected performance indicators. Besides, the participants will have the opportunity to get in touch with the Operator’s and HPPs’ decision-makers.
HPP “Piva” is a reservoir dam facility with one of the largest concrete arch dam in the world. It was built in 1976. Installed power — 342 MW.
HPP “Perućica” is the oldest large hydropower plant in Montenegro and was put into operation in 1960. Its installed capacity is 307 MW.

The participants of the onsite visit will visit two hydropower stations and learn about the operators’ investment plans on revitalization, technologies and equipment required for implementation, and what results of modernization are expected.
As a reminder, the onsite visits are organized in the run up to the 2nd International Summit and Exhibition “Hydropower Balkans 2018”, held in Budva, Montenegro, on November 6-8, 2018.
