Record monthly volume on Croatian energy exchange
, NewsThe volume of day-ahead trading on the Croatian energy exchange CROPEX in July 2020 amounted to 483,411 MWh. That is 5.65% more compared to the previous month (457,551.8 MWh) and 6.09% more compared to the same month last year (455,662.8 MWh in August 2019), according to the report of the stock exchange operator.
The average price for the base load on the market day in advance was EUR 38.13 per MWh, and the average price for the peak load was EUR 40.62 per MWh.
The volume of the market within the day in August amounted to 36,135.3 MWh, and it was traded at an average weighted price of 35.77 euros per MWh.
This means that in August, a new record was set in terms of the volume of trading on a monthly basis in the previous work of the CROPEX market within the day, according to the report.
