Serbia; EPS invites tenders for construction of two small HPPs
, NewsPublic power utility Elektroprivreda Srbije has invited tenders for the construction of two new small hydropower plants Ćelije HPP, near the City of Kruševac, and Rovni HPP, near the City of Valjevo, on existing dams.
The investment is part of the Programme for Reconstruction of Small Hydropower Plants for which EPS received a EUR 37 million loan in 2012 from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
“Apart from construction, the scope of works includes supply of electrical and mechanical equipment (including turbines) and their installation. It is expected that the contract will be signed in Q3 of 2018 and will be completed within 62 weeks,” the tendering documentation on the EPS website reads.
The deadline for submission is July 2.
The Programme includes procurement of works and services for 15 small hydropower plants and the construction of two on existing water management dams in Serbia.
First tender for rehabilitation of SHPPs EPS published in January and second in May last year.
