Serbia’s TENT TPP takes A5 unit offline for 60-day overhaul

Serbia’s biggest power generating complex, TENT, part of state-owned energy utility EPS, said on Tuesday it has taken its 344 MW A5 unit offline for 60 days to undergo regular overhaul works.

The A5 unit should be synchronized again with the grid on October 21, TENT said in a statement.

The extended overhaul will include works on the reduction of emissions of nitrogen oxides below 200 mg per cu m.

The TENT A power station comprises six units with a combined capacity of 1,650 MW. The coal-fired TENT power generation complex comprises also TPPs TENT B, Kolubara and Morava. The complex has a total installed capacity of 3,288 MW.
