Since December 2020, that ecological society has not been in contact with the representatives of the company “Rio Tinto”, said Alimpić and stated that the cooperation of that company with the local population is bad, that they have never been invited to discuss problems due to possible environmental pollution. Alimpić said that the company has two offices – one in Loznica, and the other in the nearby village of Brezjak, on the site of the announced mine, where there is usually no one in charge, and “no information can be obtained about the company’s plans to protect the environment during lithium exploitation. ”
