Total Eren to add monitoring system to 39-MW wind park in Greece
, NewsFrench renewables developer Total Eren will equip its 39-MW Goritsa wind farm in Greece with the Windfit monitoring system of French technology company Sereema.
The companies have already signed a deal on the project, Sereema said in a press statement on Thursday. The equipment will be installed at the Goritsa wind park, located in the central Greek prefecture of Viota. The plant uses 13 turbines supplied by Denmark’s Vestas Wind Systems A/S .
The Danish wind turbine manufacturer will be in charge of installing the Windfit boxes, which Sereema says will enable Total Eren to monitor and analyse data related to each turbine’s performance through the so-called Windfit cloud portal.
Last year, Total Eren contracted Sereema to deploy its Windfit solution at the 40-MW Ptoon wind farm in Greece.
