Bosnia: Chinese interested in investing in the Field of Mining and Roads in RS?
, NewsMinister of Industry, Energy and Mining of Republic of Srpska (RS), Petar Djokić, said in a conversation with delegation of Chinese company CGGC (China Gezhouba Group Corporation), which is a leading company for the construction of energy and infrastructure facilities, that the RS is opened for the new investments, and that the good cooperation can be achieved.
During the meeting that was held in Banja Luka, Djokić introduced representatives of Chinese company with the projects that are currently in the process of implementation and plans for development of the energy sector in the RS.
“We are especially interested in the model of public-private partnership in which the “Elektroprivreda” of RS would be the holder of development projects,” said Djokić.
General Manager of the company CGGC, Chen Xiangdong, said that this Chinese company is interested, except for the energy projects, in investing in the sector of mining and traffic infrastructure.
The Chinese company CGGC is among the 250 best in the world, and in the past 45 years has done more than 4,000 energy projects, one of which is the largest hydroelectric power plant in the world “Three Gorges”.
