Court dismiss Bankwatch & Greenpeace IPPC permit cancelation request against Romania Oltenia energy complex

The Bucharest Court dismissed the action brought to court by Bankwatch Network against CE Oltenia Romania in order to cancel the IPPC permit issued for Turceni Power Plant, reads the statement of Oltenia Energy Complex.

Within the campaign targeting energy produced from coal, Bankwatch and Greenpeace put all efforts to block the work of CE Oltenia which unlike other energy producers who neither hold environment necessary for the operation, the company has invested hundreds of million in environment facilities state from Oltenia company.

Court decision is final for all sides Bankwatch-Greenpeace and Oltenia energy complex.
