Croatia: Eligible producer status changes of tariff system
, NewsThe government adopted changes to the Tariff System for Electricity Production from Renewable Energy Sources and Cogeneration.
The tariff system regulates the right of eligible producers of electricity to an incentive price of electricity, paid by the market operator for the electricity produced and delivered by plants using renewable energy sources and cogeneration plants.
According to the changes, the status of an eligible producer of electricity may be given to providers, as long as the following national quotas are not exceeded: small hydro, geothermal, wind, solid biomass and biogas. These quotas will be in effect until 2020.
