Future investments of Zijin in Serbia

Gian Siming, General Manager of Serbia Zijin Copper, said during a meeting with Minister of Mining and Energy Zoran Mihajlovic that the total planned investments of Zijin Mining in Serbia are more than three billion dollars.

“So far, we have invested 640 million dollars in RTB Bor. In addition to activities on the expansion and rehabilitation of the plant, we invest in environmental protection and improve working conditions and safety. We have planted more than 56,000 seedlings in the industrial zone, and we have reduced injuries at work by 88% this year “, stated the director of the company.

The Minister of Mining and Energy, Zorana Mihajlovic, assessed that the investment of the company Zijin is one of the most important in Serbia, it is stated in the announcement of the ministry.

“The ministry is open to support you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. “I expect you to define the development strategy of both companies, if you don’t have one, I expect you to prepare it, because investing of both ‘Zidjin koper’ and ‘Zidjin mining’ is extremely important for us,” said Mihajlovic.
