Hungary plans to triple its solar capacities by 2030

One of the goals of the climate protection action plan is to more than triple the capacity of solar power plants in the next 10 years, and by 2035, 200,000 households should have roof-mounted solar panels.
János Péter Horváth, president of the Hungarian Energy and Utilities Regulatory Authority, said: “The installed capacity of solar power plants has increased tenfold in Hungary in five years, and the trend will continue in the future.”
