Russia extends presence in Serbian energy sector
, NewsSerbia’s Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Gazpromneft PAO Director General Alexander Dyukov discussed on February 22 the continuation of the strategic cooperation between Serbia and Russian gas monopoly Gazprom in the energy field.
According to the Serbian government, Vucic stressed Belgrade’s readiness “to work together on the development of the company NIS, and thus on the development of the oil and gas industry and the energy sector of Serbia”.
Ducic and Dyukov, among other things, discussed support for the further development of the petrochemical complex of Serbia with an emphasis on the company MSK from Kikinda and Petrohemija in Pancevo, as well as assistance of Gaspromneft in the supply of raw materials.
They also talked about the projects and renewable energy sources, as well as the development of retail network of company NIS in Serbia.
