Serbia plans new energy projects towards green recovery
, NewsThe Serbia 2025 strategic project has the strength to become a part of the European Green Deal and a green recovery and could signal a renaissance for Serbia, not only in the environmental sense, Serbian Ministry of Environmental Protection said.
The Serbian Ministry of Environmental Protection has prepared the design and technical documentation for 29 wastewater treatment plants and 11 communal waste treatment facilities to be included in the Serbia 2025 programe, dubbed the ‘Serbian New Deal’, the ministry announced.
It said 500 mln euros of financial assistance from the Council of Europe Development Bank had been secured for this purpose.
